1. 50/50, 5:37 remaining. I LOVED that one. My buddy Steve loves that song ___ Gave Rock ‘n roll to you.

     • That is literally the dumbest thing I ever heard. Donny Osmond gave rock ‘n roll to you.

       • I was trying to think of the least plausible thing to fill in the gap. Nana Mouskouri?

         • It’s in the other island from me, so it feels surreal. New Zealand’s the last place I would have expected it – I didn’t realise, but apparently Christchurch is known for its right wing community. Weirdly, while it was unfolding at about 2pm in afternoon, a Muslim lady and her son from the neighbourhood had dropped in for a cup of tea, and so I could read her letters to her.

         • Wow! Man, that’s all we’re buzzing about over here. We see this in the US all too often. Like you, NZ was the last place we expected it. Condolences.

2. 90%… that was hard. Rock hard

3. 50/50 with 5:49 left on the clock. Whew, that was a lot of rockin’ fun.

   • It was fun. There were about 4 or so I wasn’t sure of so I left those for last. And then it was just a matter of which words grammatically fit .

     • I did the same thing, answering all the ones I knew and making educated guesses at the end.

       • Mine weren’t so educated .. .but it worked! 🙂

       • It’s good Sporcle practice.

   • Looks like you’re the fastest time so far.

     • I”m not used to being the frontrunner. I’m sure someone will eclipse my performance. Will you give a “Kam” reference if I end up victorious?

   • Yes, sometimes I shy away from long ones, but this was pretty light. Good score!

5. Jings! That was a tough one. 42 for me. I must not be rock enough.

8. How are people doing so well…I guessed about half! Ended up with 42 thanks mostly to the predictabilty of lyrics and English grammar. Got 42 with a minute left…geez. Quite fun though. Thanks

   • I think that I’ve attracted a bunch of rock addicts,….

9. Dropped a few balls there with 45

   • No coffee this morning? Feeling poorly?

     • I hadn’t had my coffee at that point so there’s a possibility my performance in these is caffeine dependent

     • Nope – there’s no correlation. I’m several espressos in to the day and just stunk it up even worse with a re-take for 42

10. Couple of dodgy guesses resulted in 46. As that’s still an ‘A’, happy enough.

        • Cool – I’m just covering the 6 albums from 1991 to 2003 at the moment, but might come back and add some more sometime.
