1. 16/18, 4:04 left. One was a really dumb mistake and the other I just full on didn’t know.

8. I got 7 right. The 7 I knew. The rest I couldn’t be bothered to guess because I would be simply guessing blind.

   • I still guess and sometimes I guess right.

     • My attitude is I either know it or I don’t. Guessing does not prove my knowledge. So, like Tommy Lee Jones “doesn’t bargain” in The Fugitive – I don’t guess.

     • I think guessing is part of the fun.

9. 15/15. That was kind of hard but there was too many I never heard of. I would have got 16 but I clicked Buffalo instead of Boston for some reason. Obviously I knew the answer was Boston, but Buffalo probably just jumped out at me cuz it’s a more familiar word for me cuz I live there. Sometimes you just click the first one that you recognize.

         • Meager is another great word. I’m gonna start using that one too. Impress my friends. Lol. There’s all these great words available that I just never use. I need a better vocabulary.

         • I didn’t know it was one of those words that is spelled different in North America, like centre. Probably because meager is a word you don’t see too often in print. All those kind of words always look French to me.

       • They are French in derivation – meagre/meager is maigre in French.

         Centre/center is centre in French etc

         • We obviously need a quiz about British and American spellings….

         • I knew it. Cuz French has all those words that end in -re, even though it’s usually not pronounced. They just kind of drop it. French has so many letters that aren’t pronounced. Like T a lot of the time when the word ends in a T, as in cabaret or valet. I always wanted to be able to speak French. Everybody would think I was so f****** cool if I spoke French. Lol
