Music Quiz: Greatest Hits XXXIV

We’re still slogging through greatest hits collections. There were many artists I care deeply about in this edition. The Flaming Lips, Cheap Trick, Bo Diddley, Talk Talk, Tom Waits, Ariana Grande, and the Delfonics are all worthwhile.

Despite my enthusiasm, I scored 15/20 – you can probably beat me!

Here’s Bo Diddley on the Ed Sullivan show in 1955:

Congratulations to HeavyMetalOverlord and Bo Diddley, who tied on 17/20 last week.

  1. 20/20 with 3:14 on the timer. I’ve owned quite a few of these over the years but Tom Waits’ Asylum Years got a lot of plays – Martha is an absolute favourite. I’m going to have to dig that out now

    • Good work – second perfect score already.

I’ve never heard Asylum Years, as I have all the individual albums. Martha is from the debut Closing Time, one of my Waits favourites.

      • No…anytime I go on your site…so I’ve been commenting in the Reader…it has to be my profile…I’ll try it next time out of that google profile.
