1. 34/35 because of one slip-up. Why did I think it was “Boom! Went The Strings…” when I know the song? I got zing’d.

   • Rich, it’s entirely possible that you and I are the only ones who are, er, “mature” enough to know that song. But then Aphoristical did.

     • I got it by elimination – the title sounded vaguely familiar, but I don’t know the song.

       • Corny old Broadway tune, mostly associated with Judy Garland.

   • Boom went the chances of a perfect score…

2. 35/35, 3:11 remaining. I did not beat Aphoristical’s time but boy, that was fun. I didn’t know at least 6 of them but instead of panicking I waited till I had the ones I knew and the ones I didn’t were fairly obvious. I can’t believe I didn’t know the Beatles one first time around.

   • It took me a little while to think of The Beatles one – it’s trickier cos it’s one word. Looks like you’re the fastest at the moment. Defender of the crown.

     • Wow, that never happens. Where’s the dark horse? And I don’t mean George Harrison.

4. 34/35 cuz I thought the Megadeth one was Business is Up, but it’s really Business is Good. I really thought that’s what it was. What kind of punctuation are you going to have next time? Commas maybe? Lmao

   • Semi colons

     • I wonder if there really is any song titles with semi colons. I doubt it. There’s probably a lot with regular colons though. I think Mission Impossible is really Mission : Impossible. I can think of one other one. Music: Response by Chemical Brothers.

5. 35/35 with 2:31 left. Several I’d never heard of, so I had to skip and solve through a process of elimination.

   • I had about 10 I didn’t know on first pass. Good job on the perfect score.

6. 35 with 2:57 remaining – knew 25, and like you, needed some guessing to finish the set!

9. 32/35! A lot of Beatles/Lennon songs with exclamation points! I never knew!

   • I didn’t actually notice all The Beatles songs – just Help, which was tricky since it was one word.

     • There at least two others, perhaps three, plus two Lennon songs.

10. Jim, I was going to suggest that the youngsters among us would probably get this song by process of elimination, and it looks like Graham has confirmed that.
