The pictures are adorable, and the clues are often funny. I do think it’s pretty easy so it will turn into a speed contest. I spent 12 seconds trying to remember the name of AC/DC’s lead guitarist, so count me out. I solved the 11 questions in 1:01, but I’m sure someone who doesn’t have a temporary mental block will beat me.
In other news, R.I.P. to Straitjacket Fits’ Andrew Brough, who passed away a couple of days ago. He was one of my favourite NZ musicians, although Straitjacket Fits never quite capitalised on the unique alchemy between Carter’s edgy rock and Brough’s pretty voice and chiming guitar. Here’s Brough’s most famous song, 1990’s ‘Down In Splendour’, voted New Zealand’s #32 best song in a 2001 poll.

I got 10/11 in less than a minute but was completely stumped by the last one, who is the most current artist. I don’t think it was an accurate rendering of that artist so I’ll blame the person who drew the image.
I found the description “ginger squirrel” quite helpful. You might place quite high this week, as it’s not showing up on the Wordpress reader feed for some reason.

Ginger Squirrel gave me the most problem and then I thought of the movie “Yesterday” and got it.

11/11 with 6:09 left. The difficult one was Vaughan which I didn’t realise until the clear ‘SRV’ was on the guitar.
Perfect score and fast time! I’ve learned about SRV from osmosis – lots of other bloggers are keen on him.
10/11. I could not get the country guy, not even close.

Yeah, sometimes it misfires if I set the post to a past date or put weird characters in the title, but I don’t think either was the case this time.

I did get 11/11 although I struggled with that more current pop star. It took me a long while to get him. I had 5:11 left on the clock so not real fast.
I found the ginger squirrel sub-title helpful.
Why did the put *that* guy in? I was on a roll too… anyhoo, finally got there when I thought “hair”. 5:17 remaining.
They liked squirrels that held guitars and had distinct hair styles.
10 of 11 – I agree with the comments on the pop star – doesnt really belong with the others. Gave up since I would never have gotten him. Also spend some precious time trying to figure out how to spell SRV’s last name!
I think they just went for guys with distinctive hair cuts. I really don’t like Sheeran at all.
I really follow him and don’t really know what he looks like – I thought he had red hair. Based on the flannel shirt some of my other guesses were Kurt Cobain and John Fogerty 😀
He pops up all over the place. I’ve seen him on Game of Thrones.
