Music Quiz: Bands That Became Other Bands

Congratulations to Tony and Max, who tied in last week’s Chart Toppers in the 1980s quiz. Amazingly, Rich and EclecticMusicLover both knew Paul McCartney’s three number one singles in the 1980s.

This week you need to identify 25 bands that became other bands.

I scored 23/25, which I thought was a pretty good score, although I would have scored 24 if I hadn’t stupidly clicked the same wrong thing on my last two guesses (I missed the Rush and Linkin Park ones).

Is anyone else a fan of Reservation Dogs – I loved this scene from Series 2.

Can you beat my score?

  1. 10/25 and I am a big fan of Reservation Dogs! Am about halfway through S2 and hear they have been given the green light for another season. I love that ghost warrior, he’s a hoot.

    • It was a pretty tough one this week – from memory your score is around the Sporcle average for the quiz.

  2. SCORE
21/25 some of those I had no clue…the obscure one to me (from the ones I knew) were the Tourists…that I knew…I wouldn’t think many people would know that one.

    • Good effort! I find Binaural quite tough because it’s quite dark – kind of Vedder’s divorce album and writer’s block. Some good songs though- it’s a bit overlooked.
