I’ve been interested in ‘This Could Be The Night’. Harry Nilsson wrote it in 1966 (Phil Spector also claimed a credit). The Modern Folk Quartet originally recorded it, but their version wasn’t released until 1976. Tatsuro Yamashita included it on his album Big Wave, among a side of Brian Wilson covers, where it fits perfectly:

Great work. Every time I listen to Tats’ Big Wave, I think to myself “this awesome Brian Wilson song doesn’t sound very familiar”. Didn’t realise it was a Nilsson song until I looked it up.
