So close to a perfect score but because I drew a blank on the Sex Pistols’ drummer I only got 29/30. Next month will be 49 years since my first drum lesson so with drumming in my blood for nearly half a century I’m actually disappointed I couldn’t get all 30. Happy New Year!

A crappy 21/30. Queen’s guy was on the tip of my tongue. A couple were guesses. I wouldn’t know Radiohead’s drummer if I fell over him.
21 is pretty solid – it was tougher than I was expecting. I got those two, but missed a bunch of others (obviously…).

Yup, I thought it would be a gimme.
10/30 and gave up at 4 minute mark. Am embarrassed as I should know the drummers’ names!
I thought it would be easy, but there were some tricky ones.
Sorry to say but my focus on rock groups is usually the lead guitarist and the lead singer. Bass and drummers usually take a back seat. Not right, but it is what it is.
Rhythm section is more important in some bands than others – REM’s rhythm section were pretty much equal songwriting partners, while other bands have a singer and guitarist as the man creative access.
This was very hard! I only got 15/30. Could’ve been worse, but I’m upset about not getting Aerosmith’s drummer correct because he doesn’t have a complicated name. This was still fun, regardless of that. Thanks for the quiz!
I forgot the name of Aerosmith’s drummer – it’s basically the names of two 1990s sitcom characters run together.
I already forgot his name as I’m typing this lol.

I thought it was tougher than I was expecting.
It was, as I have no idea who the drummer is for a lot of bands, many of whom keep a very low profile.
I think bass players are even tougher. Often the creative axis of a band is a guitarist/singer combo.
27/30….DMB, Radiohead’s drummers I had no idea and I brain farted on the Pistols drummer. This was fun…one of my better scores here…lol

Man, this was awful. I could picture some in my head, but no name come to mind and so many I just didn’t know (Radiohead for one…don’t listen to them). 18/30

I looked at the list of bands and decided not to even attempt this quiz. I’m pretty sure I know a good portion of them but could I remember their names?
I imagine there are a bunch of bands on the list that aren’t really your thing. I’m not huge on Aerosmith or Dave Matthews Band.
