Welcome back for another week of quizzing.
Can you identify the 10 album-of-the-year Grammy winners from the 1980s? I was originally going to feature the 1970s, but it was a bit easy since Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon won half of them.

I scored 10/10 with 4:31 remaining – can you beat my time?
Congratulations to EclecticMusicLover, who recorded the fastest time in last week’s challenge.
Any excuse for more yacht rock!

10/10, 3:45 remaining.
Two thoughts after playing this quiz:
– I did not realize that Toto won an album of the year, the only way I got that was I just assumed an anonymous group of middle-aged white guys winning the Grammy in 1983 was probably them.
-That look on Phil Collins’s face, clutching all the Grammys, probably triggered the backlash.
Good work! That 1983 choice was ridiculed for a long time, but they probably have more cachet than their cooler contemporaries at this point – everyone knows Africa.
8/10 and couldn’t remember cc’s name and no idea on the “oz” one.
Those are the two tough ones I think…
10/10 with 4:30 left, not quite as quick as you.
Still in the lead though.
10/10 with 4:15 left. Got lucky as I watched a documentary on the 1980 winner recently or I would have scored a 9. This was fun. Thanks as always…
I thought the 1981 one was the tough one – not as recognisable to me at least.
Score
10/10
Timer
04:10 I had to google a last name that I could NOT spell right lol…LR…I wanted to put a T in there.
Great job. I’m glad you didn’t keep guessing the spelling ALL NIGHT LONG.
AH! I saw what you done there!
I struggled with 1980. I couldn’t see the picture well enough, finally figured it out so 10/10 with around 2 minutes so no, couldn’t beat your time.
Great work – a few people found the 1980 one tricky I think – I thought the 1981 one was harder.
