For some reason, Wordpress Feed didn’t display this week’s quiz yesterday. If you missed it, it’s at:

In other news, one of the joys of music blogging is the occasional interaction with the artists you’re blogging about.
I received a comment from a 1960s legend a couple of months back – read near the bottom of the comments on this page: https://albumreviews.blog/2019/12/03/ten-favourite-music-producers/
I was also retweeted by country artist Michaela Anne this week – thanks for the shoutout. If you like 1970s country vibes, check out her record Desert Dove.

I actually remember seeing that comment – pretty cool! I guess you must have felt a bit star struck!😀
I was pretty excited.
Thanks for posting the quiz link – it didn’t show up for me either in the reader.
I quite like her comment in the retweet too!
Yes, it’s cool she’s an enthusiastic Kiwanuka fan!
That is really cool!
That was Justin Hayward!! Holy crap…so cool!
Yup!
Justin Hayward! Damned impressive. You win the blogosphere this week. I may well have celebrities reading my blog but they would be too embarrassed to admit it.
I’m just lucky he has a Wordpress account so he can comment easily.
Good point. I wonder if he was scrolling through the Reader. What a great voice he has. Good guitar player too.
Not to try to one up you but Hayward found my blog through yours, called me up and asked me to join the Moodys. Turned him down. Told him I was too busy.
Their flautist died so I imagine they want my wife.
She a pro?
More of an intermittently enthusiastic amateur. But that’s where the vacancy is.
Well, there you go.
And you would fit in better demographically.
Yes, yes indeed. I am more “mature” Funny thing about British musicians I’ve learned from reading so much about them. Far and away they prefer playing with other Brits. I remember reading not too long ago that some years ago they were thinking about having, if memory serves, Roy Buchanan replace Mick Taylor. But then Keith said, no this is a British band. Seems wildly unimportant to me.
Well the UK isn’t led by an orange womaniser. Oh, wait….
