1. 20, with 2:06 remaining!
   Through this quiz, I realized I don’t really know what the members of Pink Floyd look like, it was a fortunate guess on that one.
   Nice to see Andrew Ridgeley get name-checked!

   • Excellent effort. I’ve heard Roger Waters referred to as the thinking woman’s Richard Gere. Looks better the older he gets.

2. 17/20, will add Bachman–Turner Overdrive to the explore list
   Happy New Year!

   • Randy Bachman from Bachman Turner Overdrive was the original guitarist in The Guess Who.
     I would focus on BTO’s heyday between 1973 and 1976.
     They are a staple on classic rock up here in Canada.

     • We just have one song (‘You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet’) on radio here.

   • Happy new year too! I like the one big BTO hit (the one with the stuttering), but don’t know any others.

   19/20 …. The A.M. I had no clue. Picking the singer helped on most of them I didn’t know..

   • I don’t know much about Arctic Monkeys – I can’t remember what I got wrong though.

     • I didn’t know some of them but I picked the guy closest to the mic…The classics I knew of course.

7. 15 of 20, agree the lead singer hint helped but apparently not enough. 🙂 Hope your skies clear soon – so tragic about the Australian fires.

   • I think we’re all good now. The scale of the Australian fires is ridiculous- the prime minister is upsetting everyone by not linking them to climate change and not taking any climate change action.

     • Good to hear things are better sky wise. Yes when your entire country is burning perhaps there is something unusual going on…. Well at least the primer minister is not ranting about wind power blades spewing fumes into the atmosphere like certain other world leaders.

9. Happy New Year, Graham. So sorry for everything you’re dealing with in your part of the planet right now. It’s truly heartbreaking and has not gone unnoticed here and in many other places. Sending good wishes your way. As for this week’s quiz, with only one educated guess and the rest being very obvious to me, I scored 20/20 with 2:26 left on the clock. A good way to start the year.

10. 19/20. Pretty easy overall. There was one band I didn’t recognize so it was a wild guess. Plus I was distracted by a women’s lingerie ad that popped up and wouldn’t go away.

    • Note to self: distract Jim with lingerie ads.

      • I think it would be a higher percentage return to try that on Tony.

    Arctic Monkeys is none of my business. Otherwise a fairly easy quiz.

    • Good effort – you had a very fast time there.

12. 18/20 with 2:42 left. Don’t know the Bachman–Turner Overdrive or Danger Mouse questions.

    • Danger Mouse was one of the ones I got wrong too – it was a bit embarrassing as I’m more interested in their stuff than a lot of other bands on the list, just no idea what they looked like.
