Music Quiz: Song Title Mistaken for its Refrain

1. 29/35. And even though I pretty much blew it, that’s the kind of quiz I like best. I do that all the time with friends. Throw out a quote from a song and see how long it takes them to guess it. I text a friend in Philly. Sometimes he comes back with it the next day. No context at all so he has to try to hear the song.

2. 21/35 with 19 seconds left. Bob Dylan artist on Billy Joel cover?

   • Good work, but not Bob Dylan.

     • Did Billy himself do it?

       • Nope, his wife at the time.

3. As to the Joel artwork, I had two guesses in my head. The first was Joni Mitchell but the second was Christie Brinkley. So, one of those?? I know Joni paints but….

   • Correct on the second try.

4. 32/35. My guesswork on the Sister Christian song was wanting.

   • You were in the lead for a while there. I was down to educated guessing by the time I got to Sister Christian.

5. 34/35 Can you believe I got the same one wrong as you did? The other ones that I had to guess at I got right.

   • I was down to educated guesses leading into that, but that last one felt like a 50/50 stab in the dark.

6. 31/35. Too many I had to guess and guessed wrong.

   • 31 is highly respectable.
