Oof. I only got 7. I don’t own all the albums so there was me guessing…
I should try an artist I don’t know next time, and see how it goes.
Well, I mean, I know Tom Petty but not owning all of the albums made it hard to know some of the cover art, so maybe there’s a middle ground there. But it is a cool idea to have it be harder… you could go right into something you don’t know at all and try it. Still could be fun!

I know all 13 of these albums really well but due to multiple pop-up ads throwing me off my game I clicked on the wrong cover once and ended up with 12/13.
Yes, popups are annoying sometimes.
I’ll recuse myself from this one. I liked Petty quite a bit but oddly he was always what I call a “radio guy” for me. Always listened to him but own maybe one album.
I think the 2000 Anthology is his best work, but Wildflowers from 1994 is a pretty good studio album,
Didn’t they release a box set recently?
There was a boxset of live takes, outtakes, and alternative versions in 2018 called An American Treasure. Seems like a hardcore fan thing to mes. The boxset from the 1990s, Playback, has a disc or two of outtakes as well.
Maybe I was thinking of ‘Treasure.’

I think the last two (Mojo and Hypnotic Eye) are the toughest.
Hypnotic Eye I knew…Mojo I left for the last pick…I kept going to the next one when Mojo came up

I know Petty, but not his album covers. I did a horrific 7/13 as I just started clicking cause I was so ticked I was missing them.
Good effort – I think Aaron was in the same boat as you and got the same score.
9 of 13 – was familiar with the earlier albums but not so much the newer ones so missed a few guessing. Hypnotic Eye seemed to fit the cover design so that was one correct guess!
One thing I found when listening to his full discography was that Echo from 1999 is really strong. I’d been sleeping on it for ages. Good work figuring out Hypnotic Eye.
