Music Quiz: Hide Your H Albums

Welcome back for another week of quizzing.

Can you identify the albums starting with H? Unfortunately the person who made the original series stopped at G, so I had to make this one myself. Apologies if some of the choices are a little obscure.

I’m obviously ineligible to enter this week.

RIP to The Band’s Garth Hudson, a keyboard great who added something off-piste to his rootsy group.

    • Their 1960s and 1970s catalogue is kind of skimpy, even though the first two albums are great. Manuel stopped writing, then Robertson had writers block in the 1970s too. Then there was squabbling as well.

      • I consider their work with Zimmy part of their legacy as well. Planet Waves is one of my most favorite albums. Of course the basement tapes and big pink recordings also.

23/24 The one I missed I had no clue of…
In many bands you would replace someone not the lead singing and get the same kind of sound…The Band would not have sounded like the band with anyone else but Garth Brooks…same with the Who for Keith Moon. Hudson had a wall of swirling sound at times and I’ve never really heard it since.

    • I think you put the wrong Garth in your reply! I liked the stories of how they paid him to be their music teacher, as his parents didn’t like him being in a band.

    • I think the person who was making these quizzes originally was a bit more 2loud2old than I am…. But good effort.
