Music Quiz: Click the Red Album

Congratulations to Tony, who just pipped Max and Eclectic Music Lover for the fastest time in last week’s Blackboard Musicians quiz. This week you need to click the red albums – it’s straightforward.

I scored 15/15 with 3:55 remaining – can you beat my time?

Last week’s bonus clue was a little tricky. The Punk Panther’s guess of JFK appearing in ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’ was credible, but the answer I was looking for was Itzhak Perlman. Perlman played violin on the Storm Front track ‘The Downeaster Alexa’. He was originally credited as “World Famous Incognito Violinist”, as he couldn’t be named for legal reasons, but he later appeared with Joel to play the song live at Madison Square Gardens.

  1. 15 of 15 with 3:22 left. Made some lucky guess at the end. I did on phone which for once worked ok although album pics were a bit small

      • That was one that I missed also. I got one…I guess I can say it now..right just because of the cover…the one with “anger” in it…I matched it to the fist I believe and got it right. Metallica is not a strong suit for me.

          • I need to be more open minded and listen to more of them. In the coming weeks I might listen to Master of Puppets…from what I hear that is the one.

    • I remember reading the liner note as a young Joel fan and being fascinated by the label “world famous incognito violinist”.

  2. 15 – and I foolishly closed the window before recording the time, there’s no chance it was in the 4s though so I’ll be in the middle of the pack, somewhere in the 3 and a half minute range!
