1. That was more of a typing exercise, for people of my age. An easy 100% for me.

   • I figured there were a couple of tough ones in there, but everyone’s been acing it so far.

2. I own 24 of these albums, and a box set of the other artist, so this one was right in my wheelhouse. If not for some sloppy typing my completion time would have been much quicker. 25/25 with 5:49 remaining.

   • Looks like we’re at a tie so far – wonder if any of the young whipper snappers will know upsidedown guitar guy.

3. Bingo, 25/25 with, weirdly, same time as Rich. I only knew the punk band in the bottom right as I had a poster of them on my wall back in the day. If I have an era it’s the ’70s.

   • I thought that one was tough, but clearly not….

     • The one you missed…I had that album.

       • I think it’s a bit of an age divide – most of the younger contestants missed him. I always think of him as a bit novelty-ish.

         • I got the album around 1980 I believe…I’m always late to the party. His music before Fly Like An Eagle was pretty decent.

         • Yeah, I’ve heard his early stuff is much cooler. He always seems gimmicky to me based on the hits.

         • I cringe when I hear the Joker…that wolf whistle he did on the guitar.

5. 23 of 25 with scads of time left. No clue who top right bottom right are. Thought I did, but nope. Will be interesting to know who they are.

   • If you push “give up” it stops the timer and shows you. But they were Steve Miller Band and The Ramones.

     • I will look for the give up button. I’m sure I typed Ramones in there! Maybe because I forgot “The”? I would never have guessed Steve Miller for the other one!

     • OK I just went through it again. It wasn’t the Ramones, it was the New York Dolls I missed.

       • Sure, I think Miller and the New York Dolls were the hardest.

   • I figured there’s be an age divide with that one, just hasn’t aged as well as some of the others.

7. 24 of 25 – had the 24 done with loads of time left and then stared at the one that’s got a color in name forever – could have stared for awhile longer with no luck. Fun quiz!

   • That colour one is a weird cover – I know it, but it kind of looks like a 7 year old made it with a photoshop filter in two minutes. Which would have been anachronistic.

8. 23/25 – didn’t recognise top right and the one below it. Good period of music, the 70s.

   • It was a pretty amazing time for albums – lots of good acts releasing an album pretty much every year.

9. 23 out of 25. I didn’t know Aerosmith or Wille Nelson.

   • That Aerosmith one isn’t one of their most famous albums, but has my favourite Aerosmith song, ‘Dream On’.
