Music Quiz: Album by Shopping Receipt III

Congratulations to Rich Kamerman, who scored the only 24/24 on last week’s quiz.

This week, we’re looking at “Shopping Receipts” from artists – they’re actually tracklists with track times. I liked how it covered a wide variety of music.

I scored 20/24 – I drew a total blank on one prominent 2010s boyband where I just couldn’t remember the name, but would never have got the other three.

Can you beat my score?

  1. 8/24 and ran out of time. I went through the list afterwards and see that they blanked out title tracks that could have identified them, which is frustrating. Looking at the list of those I missed, I feel lucky I got the 8 I did. Toughest quiz so far for me.

    • Yeah, it’s a tough one this week. I think it wouldn’t be enough of a challenge with the title tracks in there though.

    • I normally have music on for stuff. I totally couldn’t remember the name of One Direction though.

  2. 23/24 – only one I didn’t know (the album that started with ‘Intro’ and ‘Midnight City’). There were some that were difficult but you try to figure clues with the receipts, like the album with all untitled tracks, I just try to find the country where that artist is from.

    • There were 3 I had little idea in – I don’t really know that Midnight City band at all, but they sound like the kind of thing I’d enjoy.

  3. I got 17/24. I would have gotten one more correct but I kept spelling Belle and Sebastian wrong, even when I used voice text it still spelled it wrong. And when I tried to put the title instead I got that wrong too.

    • You made double figures, which is good! These are tough – I think it will burn people out if we feature all of them.
