2. 12/15 with :30 left (ran out of guesses) I didn’t know ANY but reasoned out what Barbie would say and then did the same with the rest. This was fun!

4. 15/15 with 1:17 left. I think my favorite 1990s one-hit wonder would be “You Get What You Give” by The New Radicals

   • Great work – I like that tune too. It was used in an ad here, which is mainly how I know it.

6. Alright. This “old” guy of 56 got 15/15. I took my time so ended up with 1:03 left on the clock. My lyrical recall isn’t what it used to be. As for those five one-hit wonders, I like (and still own those CDs by) Deep Blue Something and Tal Bachman.

8. I ain’t gonna be the winner 2 weeks in a row cuz I really screwed up on this one. I didn’t know that song about Breakfast at Tiffany’s and that kept fucking me up. I got 10/15.

   • You might enjoy that song – I kind of liked it. If you do, that’s one thing we got.

10. Think I’m square in the middle of that demographic. That bloody Barbie Girl was inescapable during my first year in sixth form there so leant me a hand – 15/15 with 2:30 remaining

    • It was either my last year at school or first at University.

      • I could probably lyric match too many songs of that period thanks to killing time during frees in the sixth form block. It’s alarming how many years ago that was now

        • I don’t think we were allowed music in our free periods. I mainly remember playing battleships rather than studying….

    10/15…. I did not know Barbie Girl…at all… well after I listened to it I did remember it unfortunately. it’s been a long time but not long enough.

    • It’s on this line between super-annoying and actually-quite-clever, for me.
