I’m not a big fan of all of the featured songs, as I feel like duets often tend towards treacly sentimentality, but there are a few classics in this bunch like ‘Where The Wild Roses Grow’.

21 for me. Not the best, but I could have played that all night and still wouldn’t have gotten any of the remaining 9.
It’ll be interesting to see how other people get on. I think the Sporcle average was 18/30, so 21 is pretty decent.
I guess the mix of dates and genres makes it more challenging than some of the others… it was interesting how many of the songs and duet couples I knew, but I just couldn’t match them up.
I’m not sure if 20/30 still gets classified as crisp – but it’s the equivalent to Meat Loaf’s musical fraction, so I suppose it ain’t bad!

Yeah, low marks so far – it’s not really music geek territory, pretty mainstream and sentimental. I can’t remember if I got that one right or not.
I was one shy of our host this week with a respectable 26/30. Got the first 24 with no problem, missed with a guess, got the next one with a guess and then crapped out. Tough one but enjoyable as always.
You’re well ahead of all the other contestants so far – I figured you’d do well at this, since you’re strong on mainstream pop.
The more recent stuff stumped me. I’m usually a better guesser so I’m disappointed I didn’t get a few more right.
I had a brain fade on the French one – in hindsight it should have been obvious that the French artists sang the song with the French title.
I love that song so it was an easy one. Finding the artist names in that format can be challenging, though, especially with the clock ticking.
control + f was pretty helpful for me.
I ran out of time and missed a ton. Not even sure what my score was.
Seems like a tough quiz this week so far.
24/30. Stumbled on the recent stuff. The pre 90s duets were easier. Promiscuous I have heard the most times of those- when I worked in a place was on the radio constantly!

A frustrating 28 on this one. Not only have I got ‘Barcelona’ stuck in my head but I notice that there are some atrocious songs on this list and Paul McCartney is responsible for too many of them.
Don’t think anyone’s going to beat that this week….

Haha I got 19/30, a poor showing for me because I apparently haven’t paid much attention to duets since the 90s.
I don’t like a lot of the songs on the list. They often turn out a little treacly.

Also, thrilled to see Freeise and Montserrat in there. I love that track. It was a drinking song for the girls on the floor above us in uni rez. Long story.
