Music Quiz: Duets

Congratulations to Boppins and Tony, who scored the only 15/15s in last week’s quiz.

This week’s quiz concerns duets. Pick the pair of artists responsible for each song at https://www.sporcle.com/games/elviravastag/duets-1

I’m not a big fan of all of the featured songs, as I feel like duets often tend towards treacly sentimentality, but there are a few classics in this bunch like ‘Where The Wild Roses Grow’.

I scored a crisp 27/30 – can you beat me?

  1. 21 for me. Not the best, but I could have played that all night and still wouldn’t have gotten any of the remaining 9.

      • I guess the mix of dates and genres makes it more challenging than some of the others… it was interesting how many of the songs and duet couples I knew, but I just couldn’t match them up.

  2. 24/30. Stumbled on the recent stuff. The pre 90s duets were easier. Promiscuous I have heard the most times of those- when I worked in a place was on the radio constantly!

  3. A frustrating 28 on this one. Not only have I got ‘Barcelona’ stuck in my head but I notice that there are some atrocious songs on this list and Paul McCartney is responsible for too many of them.
