The very first Sporcle challenge that I laid down on this website was Band by Setlist I – only two people entered, and both of them also entered last week’s quiz. More than five years later, it’s time for Band by Setlist III. Please note that there are a few solo artists in there, despite the title….

I happily relinquish my throne. I knew early on that this wasn’t gonna work out. Some of those songs resonated with me exactly zero. 15/20 although there was one I missed that I should have gotten.
There were a few where I knew only one song and felt lucky I knew that.
Fun quiz. I could only get 18/20 before giving up. Although I know who the artists I missed are, I never would have gotten them. Funny how it’s called “Bands by Setlist” but at least three are solo pop artists. Glad I knew who they were.
You’re the equal leading challenger still. I put the solo note in for later contestants (although the cover image of Mr John is a bit of a hint).

16/20 I kind of thought that the one was Maroon 5 but I didn’t want to put it cuz I wasn’t sure. That was so stupid, but I forgot it was the kind of game where It doesn’t end If you guess wrong.
Normally ones where you type aren’t sudden death.
I only got 8/20 with 2:41 left. Oh well, I had fun anyways. Thanks for the quiz!

I think the toughest ones were from the early 21st century – makes it a bit easy for younger contestants.
8/20 and ran out of time. there was one I misspelled her first name so didn’t get it. a couple of others I should have known. 🙁
Did you know you only normally need the surname for solo artists. Sometimes it accepts acronyms too, like RHCP for Red Hot Chili Peppers. Depends on who made the quiz though. You tied with Lana.
I do notice that auto-fill kicks in sometimes, yes. Interesting about the acronyms.
Saves a lot of typing.

Great work – I think the quiz is a bit easier for our demographic since the more obscure choices are from the late 1990s/early 2000s.
