I scored 19/20. Can you beat me and score the perfect 20?

Congratulations to EclecticMusicLover, who has dominated this series. He beat Rich Kamerman by 3 seconds.

Enjoy this newly discovered 1973 recording from Mahavishnu Orchestra.

  1. Alright…thanks to my touchscreen, and ridiculous knowledge of ’80s bands (courtesy of three record store jobs between 1983 & 1988), I got 20/20 with 5:15 left on the clock. I will definitely check out that Mahavishnu video. I’ve been a huge fan since high school and I always love seeing footage of them in action.

  2. Score
    20/20
    Timer
04:38 Came down to the last two….IM and Simply R….of course there is a big difference in those bands…but I guessed one the song and got it right…totally lucky…the rest I knew pretty well.

  3. Pretty dismal: 16/20 with 1:56 minutes left. While I know a good deal of ’80s music from the radio, I missed the entire MTV era since my parents were late-comers to cable. I guess, as such, I evidently don’t know well how many bands looked!
