1. I started this one but couldn’t finish it. Usually, there’s an option to skip the question and come back later. But I could only find ‘Give up’ and so it was impossible to finish or come back later and guess.

   • You can click on the grid square you want to guess. I clicked Give Up to finish.

     • No worries. I’ll just concede this one to Tony.

       • I don’t know if anyone is going to catch Angie.

2. I got all but 1. 75/78. Some were lucky guesses, but the one I was stumped on was a question about a rapper. I don’t know much about rap.

5. I got to 60/78 and then had to call it because I had no idea on the rest.

6. 69/78 – I don’t know the name of the Mambo guy, the marimba song and the rapper who’s brother is Brandy.

   • I spelled the Mambo 5 guy wrong at first.

7. I got 69/78. I missed Brandy bro, the Usher-Ellie song and the marimba song

9. 57/78 and gave up with 1:27 left. Spent more time mucking with the way the letters jumped, not a fan of the format of input here. Also not up to date on some of the pop tart/rapper stuff. Ah well!

   • I found the input a bit tricky too – must be annoying on phone.

     • Oh I can’t even imagine. I’m on an iMac and that’s enough for me!

10. 63/78 for me. I should have waited until my wife, who is working across the table from me, got off the phone before starting this quiz. I’m sure I would have gotten a few more.

    As for The Zombies “R.I.P.”, good call. It’s fantastic. I bought the Zombie Heaven 4-CD box set when it was released (20+ years ago?) and went from being a casual fan to a fanatic.

      I think his version of R.I.P. is the thing in their catalogue that comes closest to Odessey and Oracle.

11. Started strong on first column and then it all came apart about halfway down second column – 53; and it wasn’t like I couldn’t even guess on some of them – Aqua? But I liked the format!

13. 75/78. The timer could give me 5 hours and I still wouldn’t get Brandy’s brother.

    • Ooh, someone tied Angie’s score. I don’t think anyone knew Brandy’s brother?

      • I meant to Google him to see how popular he was, but completely forgot.

        • He’s well known for a video he made with Kim Kardashian.

          • Is that right? I’ll need to hit Google… in fact, when you say video… are we’re talking music video or the likes?

14. I only got 60/78, then gave up with 2:19 remaining, as I had no clue about five questions.
