Can you complete the 1950s song title with a picture?
I’m less versed in 1950s music than most of my regular readers, but I still puzzled my way to full marks. But you can probably beat my time.

I scored 20/20 with exactly 3:00 remaining – can you beat my time?
Noone scored 20/20 in last week’s quiz, but there were a few 19s. Congratulations to everyone.
My younger daughter enjoyed a performance from a 1960s NZ pop star yesterday….

I knew all the songs on this week’s quiz, and I recognized just about all the images, so it was an easy 20/20 for me with 3:38 left on the clock. Was that Rochelle Vinsen song a hit and, if so, did she have any others?
It was a top ten hit in NZ while she was still at school. She only had one more hit, so she’s kind of a side note in the scheme of things. Also a well-known radio host in the early 1980s.
15/20. Lots of fun.
Yup, these ones are fun, although I don’t think there are many more.
19/20 with 2:31 left.
Great work.
Thanks, Graham 🙂
I’ve never felt better about one of these quizes! 20/20 4:30 left. The 50’s are such a great era!
You’re clearly a 1950sphile.
18/20 for me.
A solid 90%.
19/20. Despite seeing all the Harry Potter films multiple times, I can’t believe I forgot the first name of Mrs. Weasley!
I just read the entire series to my 10 year old, so I certainly remembered.
I guess my fifties knowledge came in handy. I listened to an oldies channel in the 80s, that is where I learned most of them. The only one I guessed at was the Peggy one…I had no clue who she was but I already picked Molly.
Score
20/20
Yeah, I think I was shaky on Peggy too.
I had to remind myself that “Runaround” Sue was 60s
20 with 3:20 left – I appreciated the St. Louis hockey team clue!
Great work!
