Can you identify 20 artists by their third album?

I identified them all in 1:03, although I had to resort to genre-based guessing for the last few.
Congratulations to Rich Kamerman, who just pipped Max and jprobichaud for last week’s fastest score.

My crown will likely be short-lived after getting 18/20 this week. Got 17 in a row and then had a couple of bad guesses. I’ll check out your 1002ndalbum podcast appearance soon. I always love chatting with Geoff.
You’re still first equal!
Woeful effort, VC!
Yeah, it’s much tougher than I anticipated – lots of low scores so far.
5/20
Thanks for playing!
🙂
A measly 6 out of 20, and this time I can’t blame my crappy laptop!🤣
Good work, thanks for playing.
Interesting listen on 1985.
And thanks for listening!
You are welcome, Graham. I learned a lot from it.
Ouch! I only got 10 and time ran out
That’s a pass – thanks for playing.
18/20 for me. I don’t remember how much time I had left.
Oh wow – great effort – tied for first!
10/20… Geoff Stephen is the man!
Thanks for playing – I need to check in with the other recent episodes, what did you discuss?
Only 12/20. You know how weak my album knowledge is.
Not that weak, given that you’re currently placed third!
11 sure things, and 3/9 on the guesses!
Cheers for the 1985 chat, Graham!
Great job – thanks for having me.
Score
16/20 not too good…but ok. I’ll listen to that podcast tonight Graham…cool! The year I graduated from high school.
Oh cool – according to normal logic, 1985 would probably be your favourite year of music (final year of high school), but I imagine you lean a bit earlier?
Yes…a bit earlier (mostly sixties) I didn’t follow the normal route but I knew the songs around me of course.
I like your picks…especially 4 and 5…but I agree with all of them…and for the 80s…that is something. Those were the albums that were not played here much at all except on Alt stations.
