I was a keen buyer of greatest hits records in my teens. With a limited budget, they were bang for your buck, and they suited the CD format of the 1990s – often the LP length of 40 minutes wasn’t enough to contain all of an artist’s key songs.

That was quite the collection of compilations. I ended up with 17/20, the first 14 were easy and then a few good guesses offset by a few bad ones.
