1. It took my mind a moment or two to shift into gear. And when it did – a measly 8 out of 16. Unscrambling words especially under that pressure is not my forte.

3. SCORE First day back to work…my brain thinks it’s Monday.

   • Had you had your coffee? Sometimes that helps?

     • No I swore off caffeine…around two weeks ago…probably not a good time to do it!

       • I don’t do coffee often, because it messes with me, but I’m big on tea.

         • That is what I miss…I do really like tea.

         • It seems a lot gentler than coffee – but you gave it up as well? I do Chai tea sometimes too for an even smaller caffeine hit.

         • Yea…I didn’t give it up for any reason except one…energy. I had a 3 day headache and then after that…I have much more energy…. Now the trick is how long I can go lol. I feel much better.
           I’ve never tried that…

4. 16/16 with 50 seconds left. That was much funner than last week’s.

   • It was less stressful, I think!

5. I took your advice and identified them all before beginning (only had to look up Billy Joe Armstrong and guessed on Spice Girl through process of elimination) got all right with 28 seconds to spare. First time doing well on one of these quizzes! Yay!

6. 16/16 w/ 1:50 left – literally forgot about Victoria Beckham at the end
   This ones with the bands were easy to get as unscrambling the bands is easier than the names.

   • That’s a crazy fast time – you must be a skilled anagram-ist.

     • Oops, I meant to write 1:30 (which is still fast). I just look at the singers first rather than the anagrams then just match if they match or not.

7. Not one I could do, I’m afraid, given that I only knew (or think I knew) eight of the artists from the pictures – Cobain, Martin x 2, Gallagher, Dogg, Armstrong, Adams and Carey. Oh dear.

8. I did the quiz and actually got ten, not guesses either (the anagrams helped me with Spears and Morrisette), although I thought Thom Yorke was Chris Martin of Coldplay!

   • Good job! It took me a long time to warm to Radiohead, but they’re very good.

9. Perfect Score with 1:27 left on the clock. I see not the best, but I’ll take it.

11. 16 – with 1:21 left, thanks for the tip about looking at the pictures first, that probably shaved a bunch of time off the clock for me!

    • There’s a weird trend where a bunch of early contestants had about a minute left, and later contestants had about 90 seconds. Opposite of early bird and worm.

12. 8 of 16 – unscrambling even knowing some of the artists under the gun a bit too stressful. Plus as you know 90s not my era.

    • Good work! Maybe I shouldn’t make people unscramble stuff this week….
