21/24. If I was more careful I could have gotten them all. This is a much a test of the English language as anything. Side note – that list of 2000-era songs shows you how feeble rock had become by then in terms of any sort of pre-eminence. That said, I did enjoy “Let’s get the pasty started.”
Yes, sometimes I shy away from more modern quizzes, given my reader demographics, but I thought this one was very well put together, and as much a case of English logic as music knowledge.

18/24. The 2000s is a decade in music I’m not particularly knowledgeable. If I’d had extra time on the clock I think I’d have got a few more correct. Easier than other quizzes.

23/24, with 2:40 remaining. Honestly, I thought the titles given as clues were hilarious and ought to have been the real titles!
Yes, someone should make an album using titles like ‘A Thousand Moles’ and ‘What A Girl Pants’.
Took me a few seconds to figure out how this works and then got into a groove, ending with 24/24 and 2:10 left on the clock. Not bad considering this is not my era of popular music.
