I scored 18/20. I think 20 is attainable; I just made a couple of silly mistakes.

Congratulations to EclecticMusicLover, who scored the fastest 25/25 for the second week running.

Traffic’s Dave Mason passed away last weekend – here he is live in 1975.

    • I liked the death notice: “On Sunday, April 19, after cooking an amazing dinner with his beloved wife Winifred, he sat down to take a nap with sweet Star (the maltese) at his feet. He passed away peacefully, in his favorite chair, surrounded by the beautiful Carson Valley that he loved so much. A storybook ending. On his own terms. Which is how he lived his life right up until the end.”

  1. A very easy 20/20 with 4:05 left on the clock.
Sad news about Dave Mason, although I heard the setting of his passing was very pleasant, with his family there and his dog at his feet. I saw him once, opening for comic Richard Lewis. He played by himself and his guitar playing & singing were fantastic. That was probably 30-35 years ago.

    • That sounds like a cool gig – before he joined Fleetwood Mac! I probably should have got 20, but made some dumb mistakes.

    • I guess he’s not quite famous enough for his passing to be headline news. I actually thought he was already dead – but i was mixed up with Wood and Capaldi, who died relatively young.

I was just reading Capaldi’s bio on Wikipedia, seemed like a cool guy.

“Outside his music and environmental activism, Capaldi also assisted his wife in her work with Jubilee Action to help Brazilian street children.”

      • For the longest time I only knew Mason for “We Just Disagree”… then I found out about Traffic. Hmmm, I don’t know anything about Capaldi.
Yea that is a great thing. It’s always good to find out the person of interest is at least a good guy.
Only one bio that I put down because the guy was so unlikable…. and that person was Jann Wenner.
