Music Quiz: Adjectives in 1970s songs

There were a lot of 18/20s in last week’s quiz, but a couple of contestants made it to 20/20 – NostalgicItalian and Eclectic Music Lover – with the latter having the fastest time.

This week’s challenge is to link adjectives to 1970s songs.

Adjectives in 1970s songs

I scored 24/24 with 2:49 remaining – although I certainly had to guess a bit.

Incidentally, I think this is this blog’s 1000th post – thanks for reading and following.

As a bonus, I liked this quiz. https://www.sporcle.com/games/Le_Badger/10-down-the-beatles – I don’t like to feature single-artist quizzes, as they make it hard for some readers. I just scraped in with 10, with a couple of seconds left – the ‘Hey Jude’ question took me a while to figure out.

I enjoyed this episode of Amoeba Records’ What’s In My Bag, featuring Meshell Ndegeocello. She’s articulate, and she had me at her first choice – Mark Hollis’s 1998 solo album. She’s been listening to some of the same things as me recently – PJ Harvey’s recent record and Arthur Russell.

  1. I don’t think I understood that Beatles quiz cuz I put Penny Lane for the two word song and it said I was wrong, then I didn’t have any more time to do anymore.
