Music Quiz: Bands that should play together

I’m on holiday, so I’m drafting this up slightly early. Congratulations to Jim, Music Enthusiast, who scored full marks with the fastest time in last week’s quiz.

This week your challenge is to insert a popular phrase into a pair of band names. It’s a little longer than usual – make sure you have a spare five minutes.

  1. Got em all…. eventually as only 1:31 left on the clock. Happy to see Buffalo Tom get a mention though if only for cat and mouse cartoon reference

  2. I remember this Paul Kelly song cuz a friend of mine married a guy from Australia and when they came to New York he made me a CD of Australian music and it had a bunch of Paul Kelly on it and all these Australian bands. When they moved back to Adelaide I wanted to go visit them and I figured it would cost maybe about $500 to fly there but when I checked the airlines it was about $2,000 or $3,000!!! Of course I couldn’t afford any such thing so I never got to go there but I wish I did.
