1. Nice “Kamerman” wordplay, Graham. I’m honored. No perfect score for me but still a respectable 23/25. The two I missed are bands I know of but would never have recognized them. Another fun quiz. I like how you mix them up so it’s always something interesting.

   • I was worried you wouldn’t enjoy that pun, but I thought it was funny – glad you enjoyed it.

     • As George Costanza once said, “I have an unblemished record of staunch heterosexuality” so no offense taken. I’m always up for clever wordplay. 😃

       • I think the phrase “man I feel like a woman” can be interpreted in more than one way anyway. Takes a different meaning when spoken by a heterosexual man.

2. I tied Mr. KamerTunesBlog with 23. Two of them I could not possibly have gotten and didn’t recognize even after their names came up. There are at least two bands on this test that are so recognizable that one must hang their head in shame if they miss.

     • Speak for yourself on the “older” part. I prefer ‘mature.’ 🙂

       • Based on my wife’s assessment, I can’t claim to be mature or anything resembling that.

         • Heh! They know us too well.

   • Are you talking about the ubiquitous British rock bands of the 1960s or the 1970s people with very recognisable visual imagery? Great score. It’ll be interesting to see if anyone makes it past 23.

     • Liverpool lads and Bonzo clan.

       • Mr Jagger’s pout and Mr Townshend’s protruding nasal implement are also very distinctive.

         • I think I may have mentioned before that in their younger days, Daltrey used to refer to Townshend as a nose on a stick.

         • I don’t know if we’ve ever talked about The Who, at least on my site.

         • I never remember what I said to who. Or whom. Or Who.

3. 20/25. The majority were a piece of cake with a few not-so-easy ones sprinkled in. Surprised I didn’t recognize the Eagles & Ramones, I guess I haven’t actively looked at their faces. Didn’t remember Jared Leto’s group. Had seen Serj Tankian before-couldn’t put my finger on his band.

   • Good work. I remember reading about Glenn Frey’s nasal reconstruction from Teflon- someone said that now not only the music has a non-stick surface.

4. Turns out I wouldn’t know 30 Seconds To Mars if they were helping me spell Evanescence

   • I think Googling spelling is OK. I think I had to do it for Evanescence too. 30 Seconds To Mars seem like an obscure choice to me.

   Three of the ones I missed I knew their name but not their face…the other ones…no clue.

   • Yup, there were a few where I had no idea too. I have no idea what Van Halen look like for some reason.

     • I was afraid it was going to be full of hair bands…that I couldn’t tell apart…
       I started to type “Blur” if I wasn’t sure. I know Oasis but not them…but no luck.

6. Yes! Yes I can: 25 with 2:27 to go and one pure guess (those birds who could never leave their hotel)

     • I can only answer that by quoting The Dude

7. So close, 24! I thought that one flock of birds had more than 4 members, then when I saw the answer, realized I should have recognized the drummer.

   • I got that one but it is a bit tricky – they had five members for a lot of their tenure, and the drummer is the only one of the original four still in the band.

8. 24. I’ll take that. Took me a few minutes to spell one of the band’s names… which I’m going to put down as the excuse for not getting the Eagles.

   • You’re the third person who’s had problems with Eagles. I think people are more used to the Joe Walsh lineups.

     • I dare say you’re right. If I saw Joe Walsh I would likely have gotten it.

9. 23/25 for me. And I hate I missed last week’s. I need to go back and take that one.

   • I did the quiz last week. Why don’t I remember that. I am losing my mind.

10. 19/25 for me. I should’ve gotten Pink Floyd but the others I was completely stumped.

    • I wonder if we got the same ones wrong apart from Pink Floyd. I missed Van Halen.

      • We probably did. I had no idea what Megadeth looked like, you?

        • Nope didn’t get that, or Van Halen but I got Eagles.

          • Don’t think I got The Eagles either.

11. coming in at the wire 17 of 25 – some had no idea, a few I didnt recognize!

    • Eagles was one

      • Yeah, lots of people found that tricky. I was a big fan back in the day so I know what Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner look like.
