It’s Waitangi Day, our national public holiday, here in New Zealand. It’s particularly fraught this year, as the far right question our nation’s founding document.
Unfortunately, today’s quiz is completely unrelated to such happenings.
Can you identify the albums starting with J? As before I had to make this one myself. There aren’t as many albums beginning with J, so there are fewer questions than usual.

Again, I’m obviously ineligible to enter this week. Congratulations to Tony, who top-scored with 22 last week. I also forgot to congratulate Max, who won with 23 the week before. Can anyone score perfect marks this week.
Here’s a song from an album starting with K that’s not featured in next week’s quiz. It’s a cover of a band that also begins with K.

Yikes! Not good at all. 7/15.
Seems tougher than I intended.
9/15. 8 solid, 1 guess. Happy Waitangi Day. Would you say a little more about the holiday?
Good job!
In 1840, a Treaty was signed between the British crown and Maori chiefs. Because of the language differences, it’s caused a lot of issues over the years. But it’s our nation’s founding document and should be respected.
It’s also Bob Marley’s birthday – he’s always been pretty big here.
Thanks, Graham and thanks for saying more about the holiday(s). I sincerely hope your Treaty holds. Raising a doob to the man with the dreads. Cheers!
9/15! Better than I thought!
Yup, that’s 60%.
12/15! Better than last time!
Yup you were winning for a while there, before being pipped by a 13.
12/15, definitely a more challenging one this week with some great selections
Good work, a few of you on 12 before Rich snuck in with a 13.
13/15 for me. Better than I expected and some good guesses.
Looks like you might win this week!
That would be the first time in a very very long time.
12/15 for me. Started off pretty good with 10 in a row and then came up empty for the next few. Considering I own 9 of these albums, and have compilations from 3 other artists, I should have done much better. Happy Waitangi Day to you & your loved ones.
Good job though, only one from the lead.
11/15 for me
Good job, thanks for playing.
Score
12/15 Not as good this week! Love that Kirsty MacColl song.
I’d never heard that Kirsty MacColl song until the day before I posted it. I picked up Electric Landlady years ago from a bargain bin but had never explored further. I think 12 was a popular score last week.
I only heard her when I heard her original version of They Don’t Know… and that is what got me into Stiff Records.
