We’re up to quiz #45 in the series. 45AD was the year the Roman senate consulted about real estate speculation in Rome.
Can you score 20/20 in this quiz. I’d be impressed if you can.

I scored 11/20. I got fixated on one of the squares – I probably could have scored higher otherwise. Not many acts I’m interested in beyond Gordon Lightfoot and Erykah Badu.
Congratulations to Tony, who scored an impressive 19/20 in last week’s quiz.
Here’s Gordon Lightfoot’s ‘Seven Island Suite’.

Score
9/20 The worst showing I’ve done in a while
It was a tough one, I thought.
Yes it was…I only knew around 3 maybe 4…the rest were guesses.
Rough one this week
Yes…yes it was!
Urgh – 11/20.
It’s not the lowest score this week – it was pretty tricky.
Not sure how, but I got 19/20 this week, and I actually knew about 15-16 of them before any guesses. If it wasn’t for a bad choice between Skillet and Breaking Benjamin, I might have gotten a perfect score.
I can’t tell the different between Skillet and Breaking Benjamin either.
12/20 New Gord for me. Good stuff.
Yeah, that Lightfoot song rules. I don’t know his catalogue very well – it’s huge.
“Gord’s Gold” and “Sit Down Young Stranger” are my two go-to albums.
I looked it up, and he has 22 studio albums, I assumed he had like 50.
Sit Down Young Stranger sounds like a good one to check out – it has ‘If You Could Read My Mind’.
I’m surprised there aren’t more also. I think Sit Down Young Stranger has an alternate title also. “Your Love’s Return” is probably my favorite on it.
18/20, with a fair amount of guessing
You’re back to guessing well.
17/20, with a lot of luck!
You smashed my score!
18/20 with a lot of squinting at the grid and ‘well, that dude’s got a cowboy hat so that must be…’ type guesses. Owning only one of these turned out to not be helpful
Great work – I haven’t seen physical copies of most of those records, a lot of them are from the streaming era, I guess.
16/20 which seems to be my standard of late.
Good work, it’s a high standard.
14/20….thanks for this
And thanks for playing! Good score.
