Congratulations to EclecticMusicLover, who scored 21/22 in last week’s band hometowns quiz.
This week, your challenge is to differentiate between two similarly named songs. It was a good quiz, with a broad range of artists and eras.

I scored 20/20 with 1:18 remaining, although it involved some educated guessing at the end.
It also has me more confused about what John Cougar Mellencamp is singing in ‘Cherry Bomb’….
Can you beat my time?

Good effort!
Thank you 🙂
18/20. I seemed to keep guessing Barry Manilow on a variety of things. And how come Barry White never shows up?
I don’t really know many Barry White songs if any. He’s one of those musicians who’s better known for his persona than his music, at least for my generation.
Actually to some extent, for mine
…too. He was part of the disco generation but he was inescapable for a while. Two-part response due to the vast, endless inferiority of a cell phone vs. computer.
And good score.
SCORE
19/20 I guessed 4 times…3 were right…I know nothing about Swift.
That sounds like some very good guessing.
Consider yourself lucky
LOL
16/20.
Good effort 👌!

The only 20/20!
That was so weird because I always knew the first person but then I got the second person wrong. I think it’s cuz the second person was always somebody newer like Ellie Goulding or Taylor Swift, and I always do better on the older shit.
Older stuff is generally easier – due to age and that there was more of a monoculture back then.
I got 15.
Good work!
