Music Quiz: Singer Name Definition with a Picture

Congratulations to James from keepsmealive, who top scored in last week’s Artist by First Hit quiz.

This week your challenge is to match the singer’s image to a definition of their surname. You should recognise most of the faces, but it requires some puzzling skills.

I scored 21/21, although I was down to educated guessing with a few left on the board.

Can you beat my time of 3:01 remaining?

  1. 20/21. I couldn’t remember Keith Urban’s name even though I recognize the picture from when he was in Playgirl magazine and they had that picture. That made me screw up and miss Axl Rose somehow. Not sure how that worked.

    • Urban’s born in New Zealand, which probably makes him a contender for our most successful musical export. Vying with Kiri Te Kanawa, Neil Finn, and Lorde.

  2. I didn’t know that he was from New Zealand. Maybe that’s why he was married to Nicole Kidman cuz she’s from Australia I think or maybe New Zealand. That’s when he did the Playgirl layout, when he was married to her. But he wasn’t completely nude, just partially. They didn’t show his dick or anything. I’m still not positive if I ever heard any of his records. I can’t think of the name of any of them if I have.

    02:58 ….that was a lot of fun.
I didn’t know Urban was from New Zealand. I’ve always heard Australia…but I guess you guys get that a lot. Him and Nicole Kidman lived around 3-4 miles from me at one time…they might still live there.
