I scored 38/40, although I can’t remember my time. I’ve heard a lot of them, but there was one I’d never heard of and one I couldn’t place.

A measly 36/40 for me. I know & like all four artists I missed but the album titles eluded me. I’ll have to come back for that Liberace performance. I’m working now with other music playing, but will make time for it later.
I think 36 is a really good score – I don’t know that anyone will beat you.
I not even putting my score down…not good at all. I am horrible with album names. Maybe next week.
By the way, I was thinking about your visitors’ dropoff on your site. Have you looked into speed stuff? I ran a page or two on your site through a speed test – https://gtmetrix.com/ is a good one – and I think videos and images are a problem for you. I think Google’s started to emphasise site speed more, and if you haven’t changed anything it’s probably why. It might be worth talking to Wordpress if there’s a way to delay off-screen videos and images to get your speed up.

I’d maybe ask support for ideas. Or just put one video per post (or at least the ones you want to rank well on Google).
Do NOT miss it. It is classic 60s schlock with older entertainers trying to prove how hip they were by wearing flowers and singing the songs of ‘today’s youth.’ It is the greatest thing I have ever seen and laughed my ass off. I wonder how many of those ‘Up with People’ kids became junkies?
27/40. These quizzes are funny in that you either get it right away or you’re out of luck. Of the ones I didn’t know, after I gave up, I still didn’t know them. Remarkable that there were two jazz albums, one of which I got. The Liberace video is the single grooviest thing I have ever seen in my life. Outta site, man!

34/40 I ran out of time right before the last one which was an easy one, E*****. I missed ones like B*** S****** and C** which I should have known. And then ones that I SHOULDN’T have known I got right , like M**** D****. ha ha.
I like the Liberace video. EVERYBODY was groovy in the 60s.
That German album was a bit obscure – I’ve heard it, but it’s still a tough one.
There wasn’t enough time to go back and think about the hard ones. If I had a little more time to think I might have got a couple more right. The person that made that quiz set the timer too short. They should have said it for about 6 minutes maybe, especially since it had 40 questions. But I know it’s difficult to decide on just how long they should be.
11/40 and :43 left. Some of those missed I should have known. The Liberace video rivals Leonard Nimoy and Bilbo Baggins and any song by William Shatner. It does remind me about those big “daisies” of the flower power era though.
What’s Bilbo Baggins? I obviously know about the Tolkien character, but no idea about the musician.

There are so many titles I don’t recognize, I’m not going to even try this one. And what a cheesy performance! I never cared for Liberace’s style or schtick, and all of those older middle of the road, adult contemporary artists of the day who attempted to sing pop or rock songs in the 60s and 70s were either embarrassing, horrific, or both.
One of the worst performances I ever saw was Dinah Shore singing Paul Simon’s “Fifty Ways to Lose Your Lover” on her daytime show. I never thought she had a good singing voice to begin with, but she literally butchered the song. I had to laugh when I heard a DJ on one of the San Francisco Bay Area (where I lived at the time) radio stations comment the next day about how terrible she was.

I’m not very familiar with those older artists tackling contemporary songs. At least Liberace has piano skills though.
I’ll concede that he was a decent pianist.
TBH, I looked at the title of the quiz and then, at the list of songs, and promptly bowed out. Mark me down as 0/40. This quiz was definitely not for me.

The groovy tune…near speechless… So out of touch with young people of the time! This bunch would make the Osmonds look like Deep Purple.
I think I enjoyed the Liberace more than anyone else did. I think that song’s fair game – wouldn’t be so keen on him desecrating The Boxer or Sound of Silence.
I liked it too!! I enjoyed the music. It was fun.
Oh I enjoyed it…I got a giggle out of the bright scenery. That song is fine to mess with…they were though… out of touch with the normal youth.
