Music Quiz: Find the Band Member VIII

Noone scored a full 24/24 in last week’s quiz, but we did have a bunch of 23s. Tony had the fastest recorded time with 3:54 remaining.

It’s the final quiz in the series this week.

I managed to arrest my run of falling scores this week – so far I’ve gone 24, 24, 24, 24, 21, 21, 20 – but I was back up to 23. I think I was a little fortunate – there’s a bunch of men who all look broadly similar.

It’s been an exciting week here. Car crashes (for the record, it was our house but not our car….)

We’ve also had protests – James “You’re Beautiful” Blunt offered his help.

NZ power pop-ish band The Beths have a new single:

    • The four scores in so far have progressed from 17 to 18 to 19 to 20. Maybe you did it too early in the morning?

  1. Wow x 3: 1) a car crashing into or nearly into your house; 2) The Beths song and video –a plethora of mixed in-your-face messages; 3) Barry Manilow music to thwart protestors. Reminds me of how they got rid of the ETs in Mars Attacks! Fun stuff as nobody got hurt in any of it.

  2. SCORE This one was difficult for me.
    19/24

You had an exciting week. I like the Beth song….if Barry didn’t do it…I don’t know what would.
The car into your house. Man… glad no one was out when it happened.

    • I think they should try good but challenging music like The Rite of Spring. The protesters have been enjoying songs like The Macarena.

  3. 20/24 with 2:55 left

Wow, that’s terrible a car crashed into your house! Friends of my mom’s had cars crash into their house twice in a two-year period, and they were on the corner of a cul-de-sac!

    • The first four entries all improved on their predecessor by 1 – so you were leading for a while there.

It’s not entirely surprising the house was hit by a car – it’s at the bottom of a steep street so it’s a candidate for that sort of thing.

  4. Sorry to hear about the car crash and for the damages to your house! As for the quiz, I got 11/24 with 2:20 left. A lot of unfamiliar bands in this quiz, but I still had fun!

    • Good work with the perfect score – there were a bunch of guys I thought looked pretty similar so I was lucky to get to 23.

  5. crashed and burned with a 14 this week – dont know alot of the bands and alot of the guys all looked the same. Sorry about your house – glad to hear no one hurt. Always a good week when new Beths song comes out. 🙂
