1. Perfect score. 49 seconds left. This surprised me. I didn’t think I would know these. I left 3 or 4 till the end. How is it possible to be rickrolled twice in a row? And weren’t some of those on my or your “worst of” lists?

   • so funny that “rickrolled” is now in the modern lexicon

     • My daughter first told me about it a few years ago. Then I rickrolled her.

       • LOL it was just the opposite with my sons. They rickrolled me first then explained lol

   • A couple made my worst list, but there are some good ones too.

2. 25/25 but couldn’t match your time. My mouse skills are not quick enough. Still I’m happy with my time, as there was 1:03 left on the clock. I have many favorites from this quiz, but the Public Enemy song is not one of them.

   • My wrist is young and supple.

3. 25/25 with exactly a minute to spare. The only one that tripped me up was the Alphaville song.

   • It’s one of the less famous songs on the list, really.

4. 25/25 1:14 left on the timer. This challenged my hand-eye coordination skills with the mouse moreso than my music knowledge! 🙂

   • You’re the fastest challenger yet.

     • Cool! If this had been just verbal responses, I could have been even faster!

       • I guess sometime in the future we might be able to compete just with thoughts.

6. This was the easiest quiz yet. I got 25/25 with 0:56 left, which pales in comparison to your and others’ times. I’m old, so my hand-eye coordination isn’t as quick as it used to be LOL.

   • I think :56 seconds is around the median time.

9. perfect score with 49 seconds left – just wished my fingers would have moved a bit faster. 🙂 I would agree with the public enemy song but also always liked the phone number song as well

   • I’ve barely heard that Tommy Tutone song – I just know the title. Listening now, it’s basically power pop.

10. 25/25 w/ 52 seconds left, no idea about Tutone or Mr. Mister so those were last, although I recognise the drummer for Mr. Mister (he drummed on XTC’s Oranges and Lemons.)

    • We talked about Mr. Mister on last week’s quiz post. I’m pretty ambivalent about ‘Broken Wings’ but I like their other big hit ‘Kyrie’ a lot, 1980s production and all.

11. 23/25. The time? Not bothered – I see it as a test of knowledge not keyboard speed/agility.

    • Noone’s beaten my time yet, although I expect Tony will.
