Here is week four’s quiz:

Like the previous week’s quiz, the average score is 70%. I found it a bit easier and scored 20/20 – how did you get on?

It’s been a while… SCORE
20/20
One I had to guess on one and I got it. 90s “group” I didn’t listen to.
Great work. I’m not big on 1980s hair metal so I had to guess through a few possibilities.
Oh yea…the same band with a song name similiar as a Who song…
I grew up in the 80s…I know that stuff well but that is why I favor 60s and 70s
A fairly easy 20/20 for me (and likely most music fans). My browser was wonky as I took the quiz so my time (2:27 remaining) wasn’t as quick as it should have been. I continue to enjoy this format.
Only 14% of people on Sporcle got the George Clinton project, so we’ll see. Hopefully more people on here get that one.
Guess a lot of people need to free their minds…and their asses will follow.
While the enlightened among us have maggot brains…
Yes! I enjoyed that one!
Easy-peasy, 20/20. Although that said, I guessed every hard rock band on earth before on one of them before I got it.
The average score is the same as last week, 70%, but it probably favours this site’s demographics more. Not much hip-hop and the hardest one is a classic rock era band.
I can’t remember who that was now.
I thought the Clinton one was the hardest – I only know of them because of being a music geek.
Oh, yeah. I know them. Not a huge fan, but like.
18/20 today. With a bit more time I might have got the last two.
Good effort!
20/20 for me but I had to guess a bit on a couple so it took me almost all the time.
Great work!
20 with 3:03 to go – I went back after and looked at some of the stats. What a difference in streaming quantity from the Dee Snider Band’s #1 song to their #3
The Archies in the first quiz are pretty much the quintessential one-hit wonder too. Another quirk is the predominance of Christmas songs – screenshots must have come from Christmastime.
20/20 – Thank God I was listening to a Funkdelic album while I was doing the quiz
Great work. I think Funkadelic is music geek territory – I’ve never heard them on the radio or anything.
Finally got a 20!! No more 19’s for me baby!! I had 2:37 left to go if that matters.
Great work! I don’t really want to keep track of everyone’s times over 14 weeks – if it’s a 3-way tie at the end we’ll just have to live with that. You’re equal with me, I think, although I’m not an official contestant.
20/20 – how the hell does Can You Get to That have over 15 million more plays than Maggot Brain?!
I think we need to educate the algorithm.
19 of 20, and i never would have gotten the Maggot Brain one. So happy with the score and hopefully wont fall behind too much.
Good work! Only 14% of participants got it. Do you know Parliament?
I know of George Clinton and Bootsy Collins and Parliament / Funkadelic but have never really heard any of the music.
Yeah, I think this was a pretty easy one this week. I got 20/20.
Good work! I think it was a bit more classic rock oriented this week.
