Congratulations to Geoff, Tony, and Murphy’s Law, who all scored 24/24 in what I thought was a tricky Jump, Run, or Walk Quiz.
This week’s challenge requires you to recognise bands from pictograms. There are a few tricky ones – I think I speak for us all non Americans when I say “that’s a freaking scone”.

I scored 21/22, thanks to that dastardly scone. Can you beat me?

Well done! 23 will be tough to beat. I got 18/22, stumbling on the dogs, bowling, umbrella & piece of rock. But I added a couple to my listen list.
Good score. 23 would be hard to beat… Which bands did you add to your listen list?
The “strawberry” band . The “bowling” guys also new to me but didn’t end up on my list as their albums have low ratings on RYM
By the way, I’m confused by your score of 23 as the link has 22 questions.
Oops, I fixed it. Thanks for telling me.
As host, he gets certain privileges. 🙂
I’m thinking about handing out free biscuits for non-Americans.
There’s s band called Disco Biscuits I kept thinking of.
21/22 for me. The “scone” didn’t stump me (since that’s actually a delicious baked good that’s popular in the part of America I’ve lived in for the past 3.5 years). The one I missed featured a tunnel or cave and I think that was very misleading. A different picture would have given me a perfect score. Oh well, I’m pleased with my results and enjoyed this quiz.
In New Zealand we call those scones. Biscuits are generally hard. not soft.
17/22… I was stuck on the ships, wood and something else. Great one though
I thought the ships and the wood were on the same one?
They were… I know it’s going to be someone obvious but who was it?
21/22. Damn it. I blew it on the “scone” one. I knew what the food was called but I kept wondering about the carrot part. I know the band but it was the spelling of the second word that threw me off. And the first word wasn’t looking to identify that item at all. Anyway, that one was a lot of fun.
Yes, a creative mind made it.
17, not great.
But thanks for participating anyway. Better luck next week with me finding a quiz that corresponds with your interests.
21. Helped on three by daughter no2 looking over my shoulder
I’m helped generally knowing modern pop music by having small daughters.
21/22 and ran out of time. Once I saw the one I was stuck on, I get it, but don’t know them and I should have just typed what I was seeing.
21 makes you joint highest though.
I’ll take that.
20/22. Those too I would never have gotten.
Good score though!
19 this week. When the answered were revealed I really should have gotten another one.
Good effort!
19 of 22. that was fun. didn’t get fleetwood mac cause I was stuck on first picture being navy. kicked myself when answer came up. Also got stuck on the “scone” one and the van one – the second picture had no clue on.
Hailing!
Yes but it looked like just a hard rain to me ?
