29/30. I missed Harrison Ford. Once I narrowed it down, there were times when an obvious name would rhyme or it would have to a woman’s name or whatever.
I got Ford wrong too. I expect some of our Canadian brethen will get that one too.
Because ….?
Barenaked Ladies are Canadian. I don’t know their music at all.
Me neither. I’ll check with CB. 🙂
Bad bad… 24/30…I remembered some after I clicked…of course.
The inevitable regrets of Sporcling.
I’m not great at remembering lyrics but I still managed almost half. 13/30.
And not your first language, right?
Oooft. That was tough. I got 17.
Big range of scores this week, you got a pass.
Doing a happy dance with my 30/30 score. I’m glad I work alone. Otherwise I would be getting some quizzical stares right now. That was a challenge and lots of fun, covering a wide array of artists. Oh, I had 3:38 left on the clock, in case you’re looking for tie-breakers.
Was pretty tough, I think. Let’s see if anyone else makes it to 30.
28/30. I got Wolfman and Dracula mixed up. I messed up Ford too.
At least you didn’t mix up Ford and Dracula….
I’ll take my 25/30. Can’t get too upset that I don’t know the lyrics to a Shania Twain song. 🙂
That Brad Pitt line from Twain is pretty memorable. I didn’t really like her at the time, but she’s surprisingly influential on modern pop.
I’ll gladly take a 24 – 18 solid, 6/12 for guessing!
Good guessing!
Phew! 22.
Was it stressful?
Ran out of time!
24-30; felt pretty good; ran out of time and was rushing at end. That was fun -wide variety of artists.
Yes, was a fun list.
I struggled and ran out of time. 21 out of 30.
Sounds like a few people had issues with time.
29/30 – I brainlocked on the Elton John lyric
Wow – good score though. They could have used “Hold me closer Tony Danza” instead…
I love that one – once you her it, you can’t unhear it…
Nope. 23/30.
But a valiant attempt….
24. Lots of guessing.
Sounds like lots of educated guessing though – 24 is a good score.
Ha thanks, I dunno about educated. I guessed Chairman Mao more times than I’m willing to admit…
If you go clicking on pictures of Chairman Mao….
30 for me – a couple of guesses based on rhyme and a little luck. The idea of ‘Ezra Pound and T S Eliot fighting in the captain’s tower’ still makes me wonder if Mr Zimmerman like to get small
