Aphoristic Album Reviews

Aphoristic Album Reviews features album reviews of pop and rock music from the 1960s onward, written by a New Zealand music fan.
To get started, you can jump straight to the Reviews Index or to the list of Top Rated Albums.
Here are some of my favourite ever albums.
About Me
To give Aphoristic Album Reviews some context, I’m from New Zealand, and I was born in 1979. I grew up in a household that had music, but mainly bagpipes and Christian radio, so when I discovered pop music at around the age of 12 it was new and exciting, and old bands like Simon and Garfunkel and The Beatles felt like my own.
All opinions are my own personal ones – I’m not claiming to be any kind of authority, I just enjoy discovering music and like to quantify it and write about it.
Apologies to my regular readers if this blog post doesn’t make much sense – I’m just adding content to the fancy new slider on my homepage.
