Congratulations to Geoff and Tony who both scored 28/30 in last week’s tough anagram’s quiz.
Geoff is going to have a slight advantage this week, as this week’s quiz is focused on Canada. Link the Canadian acts to their well known albums: https://www.sporcle.com/games/DesertSpartan/max-webster-and-chilliwack-were-both-big-in-canada
I scored 27 out of 28 – I’m a little confused between the songs of Our Lady Peace and Nelly Furtado.
Can you score full marks? Let me know your score below.

Not as difficult as it originally seemed using the process of elimination. Technically I only got 27/28 because I skipped one Rush album and assumed I could go back to them, so I give myself a qualified 28/28. It didn’t hurt that I wrote complete album series on three of these artists (Joni Mitchell, The Band and Neil Young).
Ooh, I forgot it was albums – I’ve updated my text. Good score!
23/28. Boo-hoo-hoo. How many albums does Rush have? 1 million?
Apparently they have 19 studio albums and have sold 25,000,000 copies.
after Rush I went downhill fast. 17/28. My excuse…I am not Canadian!!
My excuse – not a big Rush fan.
That is not a valid excuse!! 🙂
Only one I got, dude. :-)There are one or two songs I like by them and they’re excellent musicians. I do not in any way, shape or form like Geddy Lee’s voice. Awful.
well ok then LOL!!. we will let it slide. They aren’t for everyone.
I know, I know. I’ve tried. I really have. Good dudes, great musicians. It’s just not happening. You either fall in love or you don’t.
agreed. there are so many bands that people love I don’t get it. Nirvana is one of those for me.
Were you in too much of a Rush?
I might have been because I got so excited I knew those that I just got click happy and started clicking everything.
Haha, despite the home field advantage I missed a pair (I too need to brush up on my Nelly Furtado!), 26/28
We both need to get more Promiscuous? But not more promiscuous.
20something out of, what was it again? If I am going to do these I should take note of my score? Where was Cohen in this? oh well maybe next time, hey? 🙂 Have good one man!
It was out of 28. Cohen would have been a good fit, although had another old Canadian guy with Young, so diversity is good.
They may have to revoke my Canadian citizenship, I only got 62%. In my defence, I’m not a big fan of Rush or Neil Young, both of whom dominated the quiz.
Wait, what? A Canadian and you’re not a fan of Neil Young or Rush! Sir, next you’ll be saying you don’t like Gordon Lightfoot! You may be asked to emigrate to America! 🙂
Haha. Sad but true. I am, however, most definitely a Lightfoot fan, as well as big on Leonard Cohen. Does that redeem me any?
Well, I’m American so I’m probably not the expert here. But from my point of view, the points you lost with the other guys, you gained with these guys!
28/28 with 3:17 to go! My Canadian citizenship isn’t revoked yet!
100%.
And here’s me not much of a Joni Mitchell or Nelly Furtado fan, either, so getting their album titles was a bit of a coup for me!
More like 100%, eh! 🙂
23 for me.
28/28 thanks to a bit of guesswork and elimination
