Music Quiz: Album by First Three Songs

Moving Pictures Rush

Congratulations to Rich, Bruce, and Tony, who all scored full marks in last week’s food quiz.

This week’s quiz requires you to guess an album by its first three tracks, with a nice eclectic mix of popular music:

I scored 20/20, can you join me on full marks?

As a note, I’m taking part in the Vinyl Connection‘s various artists posts over the first ten days of December, so all my posts during that time will concern a compilation album. Music Quiz will be back in two weeks.

    • Almost 100%! I’ve actually only heard 5 of them I think – Rush, Soundgarden, Petty, Dylan, and Harrison. I’ve probably heard most of the Dave Matthews Band album involuntarily, and I’ve probably heard most of Invisible Touch on the radio. There are a few things there I should probably check out, but lots of artists on the quiz I have little interest in sitting down for a whole album of (Nickelback, Britney Spears). It’s a nice mix for a quiz – not just the critically acclaimed established bands that often dominate this kind of thing.
